Politikpunkt is owned and operated by Nordklar Media Ltd, a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). Who owns and operates Politikpunkt?

Politikpunkt is wholly owned by Nordklar Media Ltd, a Gibraltar-registered private company. The company’s registered address is Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. The publication was founded in 2024 and is managed independently by its editorial team in Sweden.

Day-to-day editorial control is exercised by Chefredaktör Martin Krüger, who reports directly to the company’s board but retains full independence over content. The governance structure ensures that no single shareholder can dictate editorial direction. For a full list of editorial staff, see our team page.

How is Politikpunkt funded?

Politikpunkt is funded through a diversified revenue model including display advertising, affiliate marketing, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, and content licensing. No single funding source dominates, and all commercial relationships are clearly disclosed.

Display advertising appears on the site in standard formats. Affiliate links are used in some articles and are always labelled as such. Sponsored content is marked with a prominent disclosure, and newsletter sponsorships are identified in the email. These revenue streams support the newsroom without influencing editorial conclusions. For details on commercial disclosures, see our advertising and affiliate disclosure policy.

How does Politikpunkt guarantee editorial independence?

Editorial independence is guaranteed by a strict separation between commercial operations and the newsroom. Martin Krüger, as Chefredaktör, has final authority over all editorial content. Commercial partners, advertisers or sponsors have no influence over story selection, reporting, or publication decisions.

Our editorial policy explicitly states that sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled, and that affiliate links are disclosed. All journalists and editors are bound by a code of conduct that prioritises accuracy, fairness and independence. Funding sources are never allowed to determine the angle or tone of an article, and no payment can secure coverage or omission.

Who can I contact about advertising or partnerships?

Advertising and partnership enquiries should be directed to the commercial team via email at partnerships@politikpunkt.de or through the general contact form. For all other queries, including editorial feedback, see our contact page.

We welcome proposals from reputable organisations interested in display advertising, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, or content licensing. All proposals are reviewed against our commercial guidelines, which require transparency and relevance to our audience. We do not accept advertising or sponsorship from political parties, gambling operators, or entities that promote misinformation.

Our commitments

  • Editorial independence: No commercial relationship influences our editorial decisions, and all sponsored or affiliate content is clearly labelled.
  • Transparency: We disclose our ownership, funding model, and governance structure fully on this page and in our privacy policy.
  • Fact-checking before publication: Every article is reviewed by a fact-checker (Nina Wolff, see fact-checking policy) and approved by a human editor.
  • Human oversight of AI tools: AI-assisted tools may support research or drafting but never replace human editorial judgement; all published content is reviewed and approved by a human editor.
  • Clear labelling of commercial content: Sponsored material, affiliate links, and commercial partnerships are always identified with a visible disclosure.
